I am sorry that I was not able to update this blog since long time due to my official engagement. Now I will try to post regularly from 1st June,2023 after my retirement. I would like to thanks all for your kind appreciation of this blog.

CHARLES PHILIP ARTHUR GEORGE MOUNTBATTEN- Windsor, the 21^st Prince of Wales was born on the 14^th November 1948. He was educated at Cheam, Gordonstoun in Scotland. Geelong in Australia, Cambridge University and also studied for a time at the University College of Wales in Aberystwyth. On the 1^st July 1969, at Caernarfon Castle, Her Majesty the Queen invested Prince Charles as Prince of Wales and the Earl of Chester.

LADY DIANA SPENCER was born on the 1^st July 1961 and christened at Sandringham, and spent her childhood at Park House on the Royal Estate which is only a short distance from Sandringham House. She is the daughter of the ninth Earl Spencer whose line can be traced to medieval times. Lady Diana was educated at Riddlesworth Hall, Norfolk, and West Heath in Kent. The Spencer family home is Althorp, Northamptonshire.

This 25 Pence Cupro-Nickel Crown coin was issued to commemorate the Royal wedding of Prince Charles with Lady Diana.
